So I found this journal skin quite by accident.  I really don't have anything to say except I am glad to have a journal entry OTHER than my Thanksgiving entry from last year.

OK, so I am alone for Thanksgiving, which is really sad.
But!! I have a 12lb turkey and I've never cooked one before...so that should be fun!
But for the turkey, it is still sad
But!!! I did not slay the turkey, I merely kept it from going to waste!!
but by buying turkey I was indirectly supporting the slaying of turkeys
BUT!! Turkeys...  ARE DELICIOUS!!!!!
ha-HAAA! My justification is complete.

Have a great Thanksgiving.  Even if you are alone like me, there are many things to celebrate.  For example, I am so thankful that I was not born a turkey! I am thankful that today, I can fart all I want and nobody will be here to share (sometimes not sharing is good!) and I am thankful for communities like DA where I can share Thanksgiving with folks all over this crazy planet.

Hello! Well, it has been a crazy month. Lots of friends and family ending up in the hospital, lots of illness, accidents, medical trauma and the straw that broke me was word of a distant cousin (one who I always thought I would call and connect with some day) passing away last weekend.  In memory of my cousin, I decided to finish a project I have been working on for four months. It's not much, but it means a lot right now:
